Blog Flipping – Is It As Profitable?

Is blog flipping just as profitable as site flipping? Well it certainly can be, in fact many of the websites that are sold are actually created using Wordpress which is in fact a blog platform. To create a static site using Wordpress you simply work in pages rather than posts and have a static page as your home page.

Having Wordpress set up in the usual blog way though is still a good way to build site to sell in your site flipping business. The second ebook that comes in the Site Biz Academy package is in fact about blog flipping and gives a full example of a blog being created for the purpose of selling.

I sell many blogs and they are just as profitable as any of the websites that I sell. The sites I sell are ’store’ type sites and the blogs are more ‘informative’ sites, so there is a big difference and there are buyers out there looking for both types of sites.

www.helpstoppanicattacks.net is one blog site that I have recently created and is currently up for sale. If you take a look at the site you will see that it is just a simple blog, with a couple of Clickbank products and some Adsense in the sidebar.

The articles that I have used on the blog posts are PLR articles and are therefore not unique to this site. If I were to write unique articles for the blog I would want to sell it for a reasonably high price to cover the time in writing the articles. Selling on Ebay you will find that you probably wont get quite a high enough price to really cover 5 hours of work to write 10 unique blog posts, so if I’m selling on Ebay I will just use PLR articles.
